Claude Faustus would confess to you by inviting you to dance with him. It would be just the two of you, and he’d absolutely make it as romantic and passionate as possible. Actually putting into words that he wants to spend his life with you? Absolutely slipped his mind. It’s only if you don’t catch on will he remember he’s supposed to actually tell you that he’s in love with you-
I feel like a lot of people mistake Claude’s personality for a lack of one in the Black Butler community.
Like I get the image they’re going for- Tall, dark, mysterious, unfeeling monster who doesn’t understand humans. But even with the little bit we get of him compared to other characters, the dude has a lot going on!
And let’s be honest…. Faustus is as dorky as they come deep down. It especially shows in his dancing scenes. He’s not even doing it to impress Alois or the other Trancy staff. Claude just does it because he can and wants to. The scene he redecorated the manor and ended it with his glasses falling perfectly on his face? That wasn’t fan service for you, that was fan service for himself.

Plan dates in your head, picture how they’d unfold. Think of questions you’d like to ask them so you can get to know them better.
