Platonic Barnzii my beloved

He was posing in the mirror thinking himself to be quite handsome and quite dashing. He didnt know Barnacles was watching the missing hat culprit (cough HIMcough)

It was almost cute despite the initial annoyancr of searching for his missing hat that morning. And then Kwazii started doing a Barnacles impression to himself. A very Bad impression. A mocking impression.

Barnacles then decided to make himself known very quickly and intensly. To say Kwazii screamed like a tiny kitten would indeed be an understatement <3

Kwazii has to eat orange things to stay orange like how flamingos have to eat shrimp in order to stay pink. And even tho that can mean oranges he mostly just eats stale off brand cheetos.

it's intentionally vague because i would prefer to keep my rambling about what i headcanon about paani's past / lore for another post ;;; but for now lets just say that paani , with his big fat heart , misses his family — even though they may not miss him ;( (he can't really be sure, but with the way things ended he highly doubts it)

sooo about the octo-agent's reef base ... i havent finished above and beyond 100% yet, ive still got a few episodes left to watch — but as far as im aware there's not really like. a figure of authority there? LOL? LIKE CAPTAIN BARNACLES WHO HAS TO MANAGE THE OCTOPOD? and i do like the idea of dashi being the defacto leader for the octo-agents (a hc i read from one of cacartoon's posts and very much agreed with) but again she probably wouldn't be present there most of the time anyway. so. chaos ensues in that place trust me

OH and how i adore paani and min's relationship !!! 🥹 i think it's really sweet how much time they seem to spend together in the series, though im sure my fanon-ized, found-family esc version goes a lot deeper than them enjoying working together often lolsz :p SAME GOES FOR THE OCTO-DADS !!! AAAAH I LOVE THIS TRIO SO SOOO MUCH BUT I HAVENT HAD THE TIME TO DRAW THEM A LOT JUST YET I PROBABLY WILL LATER THOUGH

im not sure if anyones done anything with this concept already (i personally havent seen anything to do with it yet), but a while ago i thought about the whole "cats have nine lives" saying actually existing in the Octonauts universe, ultimately applying to Kwazii and Calico Jack Puss In Boots: The Last Wish style LOL

i totally feel like calico jack has at least lost three of his lives during his time as a pirate. it just feels in character for him HAHASJ especially the idea of him not telling kwazii about it either because he forgot to or just. didn't want his dear grandson to bare the weight of knowing his grandfather has died more than once. most likely during their time apart too

oh yeah and octodads crumbs. i love them i need them all domesticated in the same house (probably Marsh's cabin or whatever he lives in) and for Nat to absolutely not believe that CJ has more than one life and the stories of his deaths are ludicrous (maybe this will lead to more art since discussions with my sister about the concept lead to some interesting ideas)

anyway last thing. this isn't so much a headcanon as much as it is just an angsty concept; i havent really fleshed it out yet, but oohh it gave me ideas. hold onto your lieutenant captain
