You travel fulltime but how do you do it? Isn't it quite expensivd? Love your blog by the way

Travel doesn’t have to be expensive. If you start travelling as a lifestyle, the way you travel changes as well. I don’t visit 20 cities in a month. I travel slower, taking everything in. I enjoy long walks on the beach, and hiking mountains and laughing with friends I made. All free acitivities. Of course, I did the whole snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef and skydiving and all the other touristy stuff. But that cost me a lot of money. And I don’t do it anymore.

I usually buy a car, dump a mattress in it, drive it around for a few months and then sell it with a profit. If I want more luxury I work a few hours every morning for accommodation in hostels. I take travellers with me for free and share the petrol costs. I eat simply and always keep my eye our for cheap flight. I make a lot of friends, so in almost every country I have someone to stay with for free. And I use websites like Couchsurfing very often. If I don’t have a car I hitchhike. If I don’t have money I eat free food in hostels, or go dumpsterdiving with friends and locals. There is a way around everything. 

Travelling for me is cheaper than living at home. If just depends on how much “luxury” you’re willing to give up. Are you okay with using public toilets and showering in the sea? Are you okay with 20 hour stop-overs? And are you okay with cleaning bathrooms for a free bed? Are you okay with sleeping in a strangers house? Or hitchhiking? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you can cut down on your travel costs immensely.
