“You and I both,” he whispered, keeping his voice low so it seemed like only the two of them were hearing the conversation, not that he thought anyone else was awake anyways. He also didn’t mind if anyone even saw them, it seemed like quite a few people were just waiting for them to get together, for them to kiss. It was true that he hadn’t been the best at hiding his feelings for her, most people could tell almost immediately that he had feelings for her anytime she was brought up in conversation, which was quite often. “Yeah, Fin mentioned that he had once saw you extremely red, but I couldn’t get him to tell me what the reason was. He must have been keeping your little crush a secret or something,” He joked. a smirk on his lips. It grew at her next statement and he nodded. “Guess we were both to shy to do so. We had just awkwardly ran into each other after all.” At the kiss, he pressed his lips to hers softly, but only for a moment before a grin broke out. “I have no problem with that, and yeah. I completely understand. I promise though, I’d never do that.” He pulled her a little closer at his words, resting his forehead against hers.
It kind of felt nice to know there were so many people rooting for them to get together. His whisper shot a chill through her, and she couldn’t stop grinning at this point. He liked her back. And his kisses… they were so much better than any fantasy made her think. Bridget’s cheeks reddened at the mention of Fin catching her embarrassment; she remembered that moment, as right away he’d picked up on her crush on Daemon. “I’m glad he kept it quiet. But, yeah, he caught me. Every time I talk about you – which is a lot – my cheeks get all hot. I can honestly say I’ve never been like that with other guys before. But you’re special, Daemon.” She chuckled softly, letting her forehead lean back against his. “I guess we were. I’m just so happy right now.” Snow dusted both of the blonde’s hair, but she Bridget was warm from the inside out as he held her. “I was just afraid… I’ve been hurt before,” she admitted, giving his nose a small nuzzle with hers. “But I trust you completely, Dae. More than anyone.” What this meant for the future, she wasn’t sure, but they had plenty of time to figure it out.
"That was nice of him wasn't it?" Chuckling softly, he pulled her closer. His nose twitched a bit more as the snowflakes hit them, the cold causing it to tickle just a bit. "I've noticed your cheeks get red a time or two, but I was never sure of the reason. People always mentioned that mine got red at your name too. No matter how hard I tried to hide it." His hands ran up her side to tangle in her hair a bit, playing with the ends of the locks. His eyes were off hers for only a split second, until she mentioned being hurt. Then, his eyes went back to hers and his blue met hers. "I know, but im glad you trust me because I'd never even dream of hurting you." One of the hands moved to rest on her cheek gently, his thumb stroking it. "Besides, pretty sure my dreams have just been full of kisses and cuddles. Oh, and baby pigs." His lips turned up into a grin.
