He watched as Gabriel slumped forward, letting out a grunt that he could only assume meant that he was at least consenting to that fact.
"Despite being an old man, Roscoe is the first guy I've ever kissed. I know just as little about all of this as you do." It was true, in his long line of being here he hadn't even held anyone's hand romantically. Roscoe had been his first then, too. "But I'm not letting my inexperience stop me."
He smiled at Gabriel, before flopping back on the grass and letting out a sigh. It felt really good to just lay here in the sun, letting his sweat dry on his body. He needed a shower, and he knew when he did he'd scrub every inch of the sweat off of him. Really being OCD had it's downfall.
He didn't really have much else to say, and he waited for Gabriel to ask him anything else. He had done some uh... research... on how to do everything since he was now dating a guy. Of course he had no plans on going through all of it, but having the extra knowledge wasn't a bad thing. So while he couldn't speak from experience he could at least give a few suggestions.
Roscoe.. The name honestly rung no bells to him and it didn't matter how many times he said it, he wouldn't know who the guy was. Didn't mean he hadn't seen them together, so at least he had a face for the name. Gabriel let out a loud, whiny groan and pushed his legs out to stretch in front of him before bending his waist forward and, resting his forehead in the grass--probably normally quite a feat for a male but hey. He wasn't going to brag about it.
"I hate this, it's confusing and complicated but I guess the only way I can really fix anything is to talk to him about it isn't it?" the Gryffindor asked, face muffled by the grass and, arms stretching out, fingers splaying on the heated earth.
Fuck this sucked.
Lifting his head up, Gabriel did his best to muster up a smile of some sort. Though it ended up looking more like a grimace. If this encounter was any indication he was never very good at talking to people. Not about something like this; something that involved direction and vindication. And direction.
And the possibility of saying the wrong thing and.. hurting feelings...
"Thanks Deth.. I guess I'm all out of time to doddle though. Augh.." pushing himself up and back into a sitting position, he arched his back and stretched, listening to the bones crack and pop back into place before standing up and nodding down at his old friend.
"I'm sure you'll find out how it goes somehow Mr. I See and Know All." With that, Gabriel kicked off and headed towards the school, tossing a half assed wave over his shoulder.
