It's far too late for either of us, and we're both too damaged to fix anyone anyway. But perhaps we could be broken together. Perhaps if I hold you, and you hold me, we can hold each other together and we won't break any further. Perhaps if we do break then we'll break together, and be one big mess that can't be separated, for someone else to clean up. Perhaps that would make it all bearable.
