Hiatus

Hey everyone! So a little update on things...unfortunately, I’ve decided to put this challenge on hiatus for the time being. I’ve got a lot more going on these days, and I just don’t have the time or energy required to keep up with this the way I’d like to. I’m not sure when I’ll pick this back up again, but hopefully sometime in the future. This challenge has been really rewarding to build and run, and I’m incredibly thankful for everyone that has participated and supported!! Thank you for everything :’) Until next time. ...where the last thing Sam wants to do after multiple non-consensual and dubiously-consensual possessions is let something else inside his body to use as a meatsuit... until Castiel appears with injured Grace, reluctantly admitting that without Jimmy's soul helping bolster his Grace to heal himself, he's very likely to "bleed out" and die unless he can possess a soulled vessel. Dean's not able to take his turn housing an angel, but there's nothing Sam wouldn't do for Cas... if the angel agrees.

Summary: Castiel disappears. Just when Sam and Dean are starting to worry, Hannah comes to ask for their help in rescuing him from Heaven.

Timeline: this is AU after S7, with Dean and Cas getting out of the way of the Purgatory-sucking blast so no one went to purgatory, Crowley wasn’t able to kidnap Kevin in the confusion, therefore Kevin never got the tablet to do the Trials, and Sam never hit a dog when he needed a reason to live. They still found the Bunker and moved in.
