HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAN WINCHESTER!

hey guys! been a bit (sorry about that) but i thought i’d give some updates!

first update is on calendar production: the order was placed as soon as the preorder closed, but i have yet to receive a shipping notification—as soon as i have a notification they’ve shipped you all should be getting emails that those are on the way 💜

second update is on the absence of new stills. i’ve not abandoned the project altogether! but i did find myself starting to look at drawing & posting new stills like it was a job, and it was sucking the joy out of the process of creating for me. i didn’t even realize this was happening until the new season of stranger things hit me with a wave of inspiration and it was like waking up.

because this is the final season of a series that is so dear to me (and there’s some seriously exciting prospects of canon queer rep) i have given myself permission to truly bask in the joy of this crazy last month of the fandom at its liveliest with things still open ended & anticipating the conclusion. i don’t plan on forcing myself to divert my creative attention when i am enjoying myself more than i have in a very long time 🥺

all this to say, i’m still here! and as soon as my fixation wanes a bit, i’m positive i will be back to posting stills as always (if maybe at a more laid back pace to ward off the burnout from before). i love you guys & your support for me & my art has been invaluable and i am truly grateful. i’m just taking a little creative vacation where the inspiration has led me 🫶🏻
