my fav character is Sam . i find him deeply relatable, tho ofc love Dean too. Cannot be a fan of Sam yet hate dean. Their relationship makes me very happy as im a big fan of strong platonic/family bonds <3

selective mutism dean yes BUT ALSO sam who doesn't speak until he's like. four. and john is quietly freaking the fuck out because not again.

(turns out sam can speak just fine; he just doesn't have a lot to say to john. dean's not worried because sammy talks to him all the damn time.)

I started watching Supernatural for the first time, and I might only be halfway through season 2 but I’m totally obsessed with it so far!

I’m planning on drawing way more fanart, but I wanted to get some silly chibis out the way first

Spn show ending spoilers)

I really really hate the ending of supernatural. Idk why it really urks me. The speech was BEAUTIFUL from dean and I cried a LOT but everything else was a miss for me really.

I feel a lot of it seemed pretty rushed. I didn't really entirely understand why Dean had to die. I mean I do , it makes sense hed die on the job but ahhh idk . Something about its execution rubbed me the wrong way.

Heaven felt like it could have been done better as well. Heaven was basically just life on earth, so I don't really get the point of letting Dean die to go....exactly to the same life on earth? I imagine a lot of people felt similarly for the ending . Ive only watched it once, so maybe it will grow on me, who knows

I seen a clip of sam possibly calling Dean "dee" when exhausted, so now I present the headcanon of sam calling Dean "dee" whenever he's extremely drowsy or maybe even hurt.

I like to imagine it was a habit of sams when he was younger but he grew out of it. He especially didn't use it once he parted ways for Stanford , both for age and a lack of closeness.

Every now and again it slips out though when he's tired and it's a silent agreement not to mention it, but dean always shoots him a small glance or maybe even a smirk/smile when he does . It just reminds him of sam when he was very little asking for food or to play or something else, and the fact sams still that little puppy eyed, nerdy kid . Esp when things are tense between the two, it's a great reminder of who sam is/was.

Sam probably hates whenever it slips out bc he can sense a slight shift in Dean's tone or temperament whenever he says it. He doesn't want to be babied and constantly treated like his little baby brother all the time . I imagine tho there are rare ocassions he doesn't care or he doesn't mind being the little brother Dean always looks after . It probably depends on circumstance (and how tried he is).

GUYS I watched an interview earlier , and jared was asked about some things in the last ep of spn.

There were applications or some documents on Dean's desk when Sam went to sit in there, and he claimed that he thought they were Sams.

His kind of interpretation was that after Dean's death, Sam would sit in Dean's room for a while because it was the only place he really felt comforted. He'd spend a while in there /most of his time there and as a result , when he was looking for jobs to apply to , the papers were in Dean's room.

The fact that Sam is very outspoken against their dad is 100 percent imo because he's sat for years and watched how awful he's treated Dean and took advantage of his sympathy and respect for their dad.

I do also think bc Dean raised Sammy and raised him right , he knows that how John treats the two of them is in no way acceptable and that despite him being their dad, it doesn't absolve him from being critiqued.

Both Dean and John have this bond and shared trauma ahout their mother, which brings a closeness between them, but it also sort of blinds Dean to critiquing him sometimes as he deeply understands the scar it leaves.

I love to imagine sort of John speaking poorly to Dean and Dean, sort of accepting it while little Sammy fumes silently about it , it building up over the years , sam eventually becoming more and more outspoken

Dean meeting the version of Sam in mystery spot who was cold , calculated , depressed ect would be so cool.

That or Sam meeting what Dean would be like if Sam stayed dead after his first death and just seeing his brother also become very diffrent from his usual self.

Season 15 spoils

I will never be able to get over the scene of Dean claiming he'd trade everyone in order to kill Chuck, only for him to immediately backtrack when Sams asks ," What about me? Would you trade me?"

His demeanour shifts bc ofc he'd never trade his baby brother for anything , and he realises the weight of his words despite still being clearly frustrated and upset.

I find it funny even in the very last season of the show, Sam and Dean are still very clearly co-depend on each other , eventho imo their relationship is healthier than it use to be in some ways.

It's also very sweet to me, the only person to ever change the mind of Dean when he's in a rigid mental state , is Sam. Like he literally avoids him at one stage because he KNOWS he's the only one who can change his mind

The fact that Sam spent the rest of his life after Dean died , mourning him , will never not shatter me.

He named his kid after him. kept photos everywhere of him. Couldn't even seem to look at the impala with it being covered up because lf him.

I don't doubt for a second he didn't tell stories about his amazing older brother to anyone and everyone who would listen.

Imagine if in that episode where sam and dean go to the bad place ,and sam dies, sam stayed dead

Just left to rot there and Dean being aboustely shattered. Dean would 100 percent become a shell of himself without Sam.

I love Sam and Dean so much oh my word they make my heart ache. Stupid ending of the show made me sob.

Thinking about how after Dean dies , Sam likely sat with his body for a good long while , holding him tight with loud sobs. He didn't want to accept his big brother, and his best friend was dead. He also didn't want to let go of him because he knew if he did, he'd be letting go of his last ever hug with him as well.

Eventually, he would calm down enough, just to be able to start moving deans body off the bar in hopes of bringing his corpse to the car. When he does, though , he sees the blood left coating the rebar and feels the hole it left in his brothers back. It reminds him just of how very real this all is , and he can't help but break down again , hyperventilating. He'd end up half sitting down on the floor with him, feeling too weak to walk to the car with him now, and cries into him again. He'd rock him while he'd mutter and mumble things to himself and to his brother , repeatedly denying the situation , apologising, and other little short words of affection and denial.

It would take him a long while to move him to the car to be able to find somewhere to burn his body, but he finally does.

He doesn't even want to look at the drivers seat when he gets ready to drive the car out, let alone sit in it. It would be like ruining the imprint Dean left on it. His fingerprints on the wheel from less than an hour before , the way he left the car positioned. Baby would be hauntingly frozen in time, like Dean wasn't dead. That Sam could just sit there and pretend if he tried really hard , that Dean simply had gone off for a bit but would be back soon enough with a smirk on his face, and some cheeky remark that would make Sam roll his eyes.

He was dead though. No matter how much he could tell himself otherwise. Nothing would bring his brother back again.
