I'm thinking about how at the end of operation annihilate Spock is like "oh yeah I had a strong emotional reaction, the first thing I saw was Dr McCoy's face" & McCoy is like "it's a pity your brief period of blindness didn't improve your appreciation of beauty"

And ik it's kind of already a joke in the fandom that Spock didn't say what kind of emotions he felt, maybe they were positive! (Also him admitting to having strong emotions in the first place lol)

But I'm also interested in how McCoy's reaction is to be like "well I'm hot actually, so there"

& I Lowkey want to see more stuff like that, like Bones being upset that Spock doesn't find him attractive (or appealing in a different way) and getting defensive over it, meanwhile Spock *does* find him attractive he just can't spit it out and has to be vague and snarky about it because Spock

Like I'm imagining Bones getting a date & Spock starts asking him about who it is, what they're gonna do etc., ( not necessarily from outright jealousy, but definitely subconsciously interested in McCoy's preferences lol) and when Bones asks why Spock is so interested in his private life Spock says something like he's interested in the psychological profile of the person that thinks they can handle Bones's emotionality

& Bones is like "Well some people happen to have good taste, not that you'd know what it's like" & Spock is like !!!
