hey! so, i came home to a litter of five kittens. five short haired brown tabbies.
my family lives on a small farm, and we don’t have the finances to take care of these kittens. there are a lot of wild cat colonies around here because farmers let barn cats run wild, so the likelihood of them getting adopted is really, really low. if they dont get homes, my family is going to have them euthanized. they are too young to be separated from their mother right now, but they started on solid food yesterday and will be ready soon
they were born outdoors and would make great indoor or outdoor pets. they live around dogs and other cats and shouldnt have trouble acclimating to households with other pets.
theyre young but already EXTREMELY friendly. they start meowing when they hear a person talking and will rub up against your hand. i had a lot of trouble taking these pictures because as soon as they got out of their pen they all immediately crawled into my lap (sorry for the bad pics, im not a photographer!)
theyre all also very healthy! they dont have gooey eyes or runny noses, and their mother takes very good care of them; theyre always very clean, and will know how to groom themselves well as adult cats. they have a healthy diet and are very energetic. my mom is a vet tech and will see that they have proper veterinary care, and can de-worm them when they’re old enough !
if youd like one of these little baby angels, we can provide some starter food, collars, etc.
i live in paint lick, kentucky. if you can’t make the drive, we can try to meet you halfway and bring a kitty to you! but they really, really need homes. we cant keep them on the farm, and if they don’t get adopted, they’ll be euthanized.
