On the dusty shelves of the Lady Sybil Free Hospital morgue sit mysterious jars. On one of the dusty shelves, in one of the mysterious jars, EYE-VAN rests.
He has been in the basement for an unknown period of time. During the transformation of the old building into the Free Hospital, he was there. The contractors, acting instinctually, did not touch his jar and instead built the Hospital around him.
All who knew EYE-VAN’s true origins are gone.
An employee once raised concerns about EYE-VAN’s living (?) conditions, citing the small volume of the jar. When asked directly about moving to a larger one, EYE-VAN made EYE contact and the employee’s ears began to ring. This was taken as a “no”.
He is sustained - for now - by food flakes scattered onto the surface of the jar’s liquid. It is unclear how he eats the flakes, but when you’ve turned away for a moment and glance back, they are gone.
