Just very berrybrained right now. I'm picking and eating blueberries everyday and I can never get enough! I like to imagine that every berry has a whole world in them ✨
I'm so obsessed right now that I spent a week of no sleep designing blue space berry lanterns. It's still just a prototype and needs a lot of refining, but I'm pretty happy with it so far :)

I just had a horrible, angsty thought about Epimetheus again.
Prometheus is credited with the creation of mankind from clay, and Epimetheus made the animals.
Epimetheus was also given the special task - BY ZEUS - of distributing traits, bestowed from the gods, to animals and mortalkind. Likely due to a bit of creator's bias, Epimetheus started with animals first. He gave them strength, speed, fur, claws...all the tools they needed to survive.
Much later, when Zeus wanted to punish Prometheus for his theft, he sent the eagle Aetos to torture him every single day.
Aetos had a beak and claws and feathers to fly with because Epimetheus gave them to it.
Zeus sent one of Epimetheus's creations to ritualistically maim his own brother using the gifts Epimetheus gave it, forever.
EPIMETHEUS UNKNOWINGLY MADE HIS OWN BROTHER'S TORTURE DEVICE.

yknow the story of odysseus tricking polyphemus by giving him a fake name and then blinding him is great, but i think a lot of people really sleep on the hilarious fact that, after odysseus reveals his name to polyphemus and polyphemus remembers the prophecy that a man named odysseus would blind him, polyphemus is like “WOW when i heard that prophecy i thought odysseus was going to be tall and sexy and strong but turns out you’re just short and an asshole”
loving that polyphemus had pretty much accepted his fate as long as someone sexy and badass blinded him and seems more pissed off that odysseus is just some bitch than anything else
