Well that’s horrifying and memorable, and something I feel compelled to use in a story someday.

Based on early player responses, we are replacing Iron Banner Tribute with Iron Banner Control for the rest of the week.

This change will take effect at today at 5:00PM Pacific.

We created Tribute as a spinoff of Supremacy with a twist on crest collection. Feedback so far is clear that the new mechanic could use more time for tuning. With just a couple of days of data, we’re seeing far more matches end in mercies and shutouts than expected.

We will be addressing issues related to scoring and pacing for the next time Tribute comes to IB. This includes adjusting the score threshold for winning, the crest thresholds for triggering the Hunt phase, dunk times, and overall clarity of objectives.

Iron Banner is intended to be a celebration of PvP and we want to make sure everyone is having a positive experience when playing it. Look for an improved Iron Banner Tribute experience when we bring it back in the future.

if you haven’t seen the video, you don’t understand how funny this is. imagine you created a work the length of two feature movies investigating 5 seperate cases of video essayists hiding their plagiarism behind “forgetting” or misunderstanding the need to credit creators whose work you used.

imagine, knowing that, the work you would then put into your hundreds of sources, aware that this video is functioning as a blueprint of exactly how positive attributions and credits work, and demonstrating through your own behaviour good creative practices and how to make youtube content within a creative team without turning into a content mill, based entirely on the idea that you are openly acknowledging your team and being transparent about the work that goes into your content, especially where that involves contracting out crucial aspects of the creative process like editing and writing, and how abuse of this convention impacts small individual creatives disproportionately when done to them by larger channels such as himself.

imagine you’ve just pressed publish on the longest and highest-profile takedown of another content creator you’ve ever made, based on the fact they pretend to “forget” where and who the work they are claiming as their own is from to shield them from criticism.

you’re feeling good. what a perfect demonstration of how an ethical creative process works.

yeah!!!! I picked it up in the lull before witch queen :3 I was on the jp servers holding out for the oceanic servers but turns out!!! the oceanic servers have worse ping than us for me so my current (and most progressed) char is on crystal :3

once I finish up whatever prepatch stormblood stuff there is I'll finally activate the game code I've been hoarding for like a year lmao

I’m not sure if anyone has said this or not yet, but if you’re still on free trial and DO NOT have someone as a refer-a-friend, you should absolutely get one before you activate. Once you officially subscribe and use the codes you’re ineligible as a referee and lose out on the freebie loot.  Also, yay Crystal friends! Idk what your server is but if you’re on Goblin and need a FC, mine is always taking people in and is super active!

I don't know why, but in the book of sorrow I love it when the language gets really informal. Like, here we have Oryx, Taken King, talking for the most part like an average dude. Which after all of the more formal talk of the previous verses is a change.
