kaori, konoha, and sarukui are the BEST third year shit talkers btw. they know aaaaaallll the drama. they tell akaashi everything and akaashi is like "hold my tea" because damn if the second-years aren't a petty bunch
also!! kaori and akaashi have a very sibling-like bond. like obviously akaashi admires and respects both her and yukie but i think he and kaori probably have similar interests in books and reading and all that
and kaori acknowledges how weird akaashi actually is but loves and supports him all the same!!
if you ever need anything you just gotta ask sarukui. my man knows everyone for everything. it doesn't matter if you need slightly illegal chemicals or whatever he's like "yeah i know a person" and you'll find it in your shoe locker the next day
this is much funnier when you remember that fukurodani is full of rich kids who would normally just like. buy whatever it is they want.
one time akaashi caught bokuto trying to convince nishinoya and tanaka that the turkey was the u.s.a.'s greatest symbol of power and freedom and glory and all that bullshit and he gave him the biggest Disappointed™️ Look ever but bokuto turned on the puppy eyes so akaashi just sighed and joined him
