On this day, 463 years ago, Anne of Cleves passed away at the age of 41.

Anne passed away at Chelsea Old Manor on July 16th of 1557, just eight weeks before her forty-second birthday. She outlived Henry and all of his other wives, and her tomb reads, “Anne of Cleves, Queen of England, Born 1515, Died 1557”.
