the point of life is to love
“Cats don’t actually love you”
A cat is a small creature in the middle of the food chain that is fully aware that you are a very large thing that could stomp its head in at any moment and yet it chooses to rest its tiny little head on your leg for a nap and spreads out on the floor near you exposing its belly and its most sensitive organs. It brings dead mice and bugs to you to share food.
Don’t you get it? This tiny thing trusts you. It wants to help you too. It licks your leg thinking that it’s helping. It kneads on you to find comfort. It shares its body warmth with you in the cold and gives you your space in the heat. It hisses at other mammals it sees outside including other cats in an effort to protect its family.
Cats love you so so much. But they will keep trying to eat plastic.

John 13:1 (NKJV): Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.
John 21:20 & 24, NIV
right now on earth there’s a kindly old stray tomcat who just got adopted and he’s receiving enough food to fill his belly for the first time in his entire life and he’s so so so happy and he doesn’t even know that it’s going to be like this forever :)
i think there’s actually nothing better than being randomly told “I love you” after doing something characteristically stupid. Like what do you mean I’m a lovable person and I just did something silly and you thought “of course you would do that. I love you.”. No better feeling

you're basically home to me dude but it's not a big deal at all. don't worry about it
being as i am an idiot, and having been one my whole life, i just wanna say that i find it very easy to do nothing, and go nowhere. i eat chocolate late at night in the dark. i stand in the garden also. and i’m often waiting for something to happen. and i’m stupid.
It’s okay not to have a singular goal in life. With so much pressure to have a dream career or future, we condense people down into permanent states. It’s ok if you don’t dream of a single goal, but of many different ones. It’s okay if you change your vocation or education often. It’s okay if your vocation will never be your passion, but the thing that allows you to practice your passion in your free time. Life should be enjoyed, not perfected.
