Most of the time women don't have to live with the consequences of their bad decisions, this time, she died because of them.
you put those tags on this post where they belong
Americans are being culturally enriched by the millions of street jeets.
in 1999, Oliver Reed died while filming Gladiator. Reed had consumed 8 pints of beer, 12 shots of rum, half a bottle of whisky, and shots of cognac after challenging sailors from HMS Cumberland to a drinking contest in a pub. He was armwrestling sailors when he collapsed.
He died a fucking legend.
This is how all men want to die, legendarily.
They will realize the consequences of their actions....evetually.
darkest timeline where data is chatgpt and therefore stupid and bad
Brent Spiner should record PSAs about ChatGPT as Data.
We used to shoot looters.
...We just throwing out innocent until proven guilty then? The Untouchable defends the public murderer and the family man falsely accused of assult, or the struggling single woman wrongly blamed for theft.
"We rightly agreed to the principle of rights, but it's so icky to actualy help people exercise them! The government is corrupt and obviously ACAB but also defending someone against a charge made by these bodies should result in instant shunning by the community!"
Actually what I'm saying is the public defenders are mostly insane and we should consider that not dealing with their obvious disregard for what their real job is (ensuring the trial is fair) in favor of "get the accused off no matter what" is a threat to the public good.
I'm not convinced 'ensure the trial is fair' and 'get the accused off no matter what' look different when done to someone's best ability.
The defense's job is to defend. This involves providing alternate theories to the facts of the case, showing where there is doubt, doing everything they can to make sure the prosecution's case has to be strong.
You seem to be saying 'well yes they need to be defended but not TOO hard.'
When in jury selection I was asked by a defense attorney "what do you think my job is?". My reply was "to do, say, or make up anything to get your client off". I did not get picked for that jury.
"Oh, I am a good ol rebel, now that's just what I am....."
Exactly!
