Anti-Mom: You shouldnât not-complain because thereâre always people who have it better.
Anti-Mom: Itâs okay if you donât finish your plate because youâre only human and the vast majority of food waste comes from corporations and government organizations throwing it away, and not households.
Anti-Dad: As long as you live under my roof, we will communicate and negotiate the terms and rules together to make it the most pleasant living experience for the both of us.

⢠I am allowed to take a break today
⢠Itâs not selfish to put my feelings and health first
⢠I need to remember to care for myself
⢠I should be allowed to express myself, I am lovely as I am
BANKSY
By now, we all probably know the political activist, graffiti artist, and film director who works under the pseudonym Banksy. Starting as an underground graffiti artist in Bristol, Banksyâs art include many hidden messages revealing his opinions on politics and society. Â Underlying beauty and the stone cold truth are what his works reveal and itâs really something to take in. He has grown a massive following since he first started back in 1992 and we cannot wait to see what he does next.

Reblog and add your own if you have ideas!
I know I told this story before but last year I was having complications with a surgery and I just broke down in a public place and I was trying to gather myself, sitting and leaning on a wall when this girl in cowboy boots approached me and sat down and she asked what was wrong and I told her it was medical issues and she said âI understand, I have to have my foot amputated next weekâ and it shocked me out of crying and I was like âwow that sucks!â And she said âyeah.â And then she just touched my arm so tenderly and told me âI promise you that this problem will have its place, and everything is going to work out.â And the way she said it just made me really believe her. She said. âWeâre just gonna have to cowgirl up.â And then she stood up and walked away and Iâd call that a genuine encounter with an angel but the truth is there is a lot of goodness right here on earth in humanity and itâs shining and pure.
Okay but âthis problem will have its placeâ is genuinely inspiring
THAT REALLY STRUCK ME because Iâve always hated the tired rhetoric of âthis happened for a reasonâ and this feels like a more genuine, comforting take on that. Not âit happened for a reason,â but âthis will find its spot in your life and your future that it fits into in a way that will eventually work out even though it sucks that it happened.â Love that.

Every time you see this, reblog it. There is always someone in college that will see this.
Youâre in a relationship to be happy, to smile, to laugh, to make memories, to enjoy one another - and not to be constantly hurt and upset.

Emotional Wellness
If you want to boost your emotional health then build the following into your life:
1. Develop a good group of friends. If possible, try and have quite a wide group of friends. That then means if someone moves away, or you change your school, your hobbies and so on, youâll still a healthy support system in place.
2. Learn to appreciate solitude. Isolation isnât the same as solitude. Isolation is being cut off from others for negative reasons; solitude is enjoying space and time for yourself â so you can recharge your batteries, and enjoy just being âyouâ.
3. Invest time in getting fit. People who are fit and healthy generally feel better about themselves. Also, exercise releases feel good hormones so we feel happier, more optimistic and relaxed.
4. Allow yourself to âgoof offâ and have a laugh â as too much work will drain your energy.
5. Discover your passion and invest time in that. We all have something that brings us alive, and seems to resonate with who we are inside ⌠So investing in your passion is extremely satisfying!
6. Plan for difficulties and problems. We all encounter problems and hard times in this life. Expecting that to happen helps us feel more in control - as we understand itâs normal - so we donât just fall apart.
7. Work on increasing your self-awareness. As above, we all have blind spots and idiosyncrasies. If we can learn about ourselves, and our natural tendencies, we can learn to master weaknesses, and work to change and grow.
8. Be willing to take risks. Though itâs hard to step out into unknown territory, youâll find itâs more rewarding to stretch yourself and grow.
9. Watch out for energy vampires. There are plenty of people who will drain your energy so learn how to say ânoâ, and to set some boundaries.
10. Ask for help when you need it. We all need support and encouragement at times ⌠And offer help to others when things are tough for them.
do u ever remember all the horrible offensve things u said when u were like 15 and u literally feel ur soul detach and turn 2 dustÂ
your fave is problematic: yourself
Basically, yeah. Thatâs kind of the point â you always have to look back on yourself and be mortified and resolve to be better. Shit, the stuff I said just five YEARS ago (and Iâm almost 33) makes me cringe like a motherfucker. Burn in mortification. Rise from the ashes and be better. Lather, rinse, repeat for the rest of your life.
This is why purity culture doesnât work!!! Weâre all shit! We can all grow and do better!
Good afternoon, the academic culture of âif youâre not overworking, you donât deserve successâ is unhealthy.
when you think you have nothing left you still have the moon, sunsets, your favorite music, paper to write on, warm clothes, new starts and your cute self
Language learning tip!
I donât know if this is a common thing but for my french class at school, I have to read an article every week. I have to look up the words I donât know, make a summary of the article and then ask three opinion questions about the article. I personally think this is a pretty effective way of learning new vocabulary, you also read more in your target language and you know whatâs going on in the country of your target language! So yeah, if you donât know what to do, you can always look up articles in your target language and do as I said above.
In almost every language, there are kids news sites that have a reading level anywhere from 7 years to 18 years old. I suggest using junior articles first and assessing your reading comprehension and change levels as needed.
