Kissena Toys
is an identity logo I created for a fictional toy store based in Queens, NY where I spent most of my memorable childhood experiences there. Kissena Toys is engaged in the production and sale of high-quality and safe handmade wooden toys.
The design presents itself with feelings of youthfulness, joy, positivity, and inspiration to all young children. The pleasant smile on the child’s face invokes a friendly, welcoming presence while the bold and bright primary colors for the toy shapes add a light, fun energy. The yellow star inspires creativity and exploration.

Just learned that the old logos for Reebok, Apple, and Trapper Keeper all use the same typeface, Motter Tektura.

I felt inspired to make a very quick trip-hop track on my birthday so there will definitely be some imperfections. The song's influence comes from the city lights and buildings that I've frequently visited in NYC. 🍎👀
