Hi! I found Beast of HadingleyHill on Webtoon, and when i finished catching up on that (oof💜💜) i happened across Lorena Immaculate. I'd be happy to pay to read it, but i don't want to pay WEBTOON for it, if that makes sense? Is there a way to buy a physical version?
(ps. Sorry for the double ask on here/webtoon. I wasn't sure which one would be more likely to be seen)
See, I need to look into that because Webtoon owned the distribution rights for a few years after the Originals release, but I’m pretty sure I have them back now.
MURDERBOT FAN SPOTTED 🫵 Not surprised that you have excellent taste considering the stuff you create, but still, always fun to see someone else enjoy one of my favourite series! Speaking of books, I’m now dying to know if you’ve read anything by Naomi Novik. I think you’d jive with… probably everything by her, but I gotta give a shout-out to Spinning Silver in particular. It’s loosely based on the fairytale Rumpelstiltskin, set in fantasy medieval Eastern Europe, and it’s about three young women who are trapped and clever and angry, finding ways to step outside the narrow life intended for them and setting their own course, helping each other in unexpected ways along the way. There’s also ice elves and demons and magic and stuff, but the characters are the heart of the story. I just feel like it would be up your alley :)

It sent back an acknowledgment, with a packet attached. I didn’t have to open it (I would not have opened it, that would have been stupid because viral attacks exist) to know what it was. I recognized the tags and heading. It was my own (Murderbot 2.0’s own) hack-your-governor-module annotated code bundle.
the "annotated" to me indicated that this isnt just the hack, 3 is passing around the full helpme.file with MB's diary excerpts and everything. MB rogue construct folk hero confirmed.

imagine being that rogue unit murderbot swore at.
you’re already having the weirdest day of your life. a kind rogue unit freed you from your governor module and now youre fucking booking it through this torus trying not to get caught. you run into another unit, and go “here’s my chance!! i can do for it what that other unit did for me!!”
only to have that other unit promptly tell you that it, in fact, already doesnt have a gov module, then curse you out and threaten you. then it sends you a whole bunch of code packets for survival as a rogue unit and tells you your drip is atrocious.
when you finally peak at the new code packets later you realize. holy shit the style is the same. these were coded by the same person who wrote the gov module hack.
i wonder how its doing now

Hello, idk how active you are on here, but I was wondering if you had a pronunciation guide for your characters’ names in Beast of Hadingley Hill? First and last names if you have them, if not no worries I’m just curious :)
Good question! I’m not a stickler for how people pronounce the characters names while speaking about them. but Clara Maria is based really heavily on 15th century Andalusia, so these estimates are based on how someone might pronounce the names in andalusí Arabic and/medieval Spanish. I’m building a lot of this off the Aljamiado alphabet and my own limited experience leaning modern Spanish and Fusha Arabic.
the j in Juliette would probably be pronounced like “ʒ” which sounds like the s in “fusion”, and the e at the end of the name would have been pronounced, giving us a pronunciation something like “ʒu.lj’.ette”
Mallory would sound kind of weird to the rest of the characters which makes sense, her name is from a different language. Probably would be pronounced with more of an “oor” than an “er” so “m’aluri”
Sam would be pretty close to a standard American pronunciation of Sam except with the “a” closer to an alif in Arabic, sort of close to æ.
I thoughts ablut this way too hard I’m not doing the rest
