Ghostie and Hala are siblings. These two were born and created in a laboratory. They are creatures known as Solitary Souls. Hala is the oldest and Ghostie is the youngest.
Solitary Souls are humanoid creatures with the following characteristics; fangs, elven ears, light gray skin, naturally-black nails sharp enough to cut through skin, black eyes with no iris or pupils, etc. Solitary Souls are able to possess and control fire. Not every Solitary Soul has the same type of fire. The range of colors their fire can come in is purple, blue, orange, green, and red. Blue and red are the rarest, most powerful flame to possess. Depending Depending on the color of one's flames, that is the color of their blood, tongue and mouth, insides, etc.
Alongside fire, Solitary Souls also possess enhanced speed, great hearing, fast reflexes, and an impressive amount of strength. though, this also depends on how much a Solitary Soul is willing to train their body.
Ghostie and Hala are able to communicate via English. They are able to think and feel things like an ordinary human being. Ghostie is able to possess blue flames while Hala controls orange flames. At the time of their supposed 'childhood', Ghostie was too young to have gotten her powers yet and Hala was a late bloomer.
Their upbringing consisted of several (painful) experiments since they were created by a group of scientists. Hala often tried protecting Ghostie, but he was always overpowered. Hala was given a more mature name while Ghostie was not. Why? Well, the group of men didn't think much of their female subject at the time. As such, they gave her more of a childish name to mock her. Later in her life, Ghostie was given the chance to change her name, but she insisted that she wanted to keep it.
One day, the scientists deemed Ghostie useless to their work they were conducting. There, they attempted to kill her in front of Hala. A foolish choice. Something inside Hala snapped. He broke out from his restraints and unlocked his abilities. In a rage, he burned all of the scientists alive with his flames.
Afterwards, the two siblings escaped the laboratory. They managed to find new clothes to wear through aggressive, murderous methods that you can interpret. :]
After they escaped, the two siblings later realized that the food their abusers had been giving them was human flesh. They realized that the food their body craved came from humans. Ghostie was more reluctant at the thought of killing humans. At first, anyway. Hala told her he could do the killing for the both of them – that she didn't have to do anything she wasn't comfortable with. However, after some reflecting, Ghostie decided that she was willing to kill and consume humans.
So. Ghostie is the youngest. She's often timid, stoic, observant, and anxious. When it comes to battle, or getting food, she's more skilled and quick to act – not worrying as much. However, she's still not as merciless as Hala.
Hala is the oldest. He's cocky, irrational, stubborn, and somewhat of a tsundere? KINDA. He definitely has more of a hatred towards humans, so he'll draw out his kills.
