here we go with my hyper fixated playlist-making ahh

i wanted to focus on both their funny action-packed dynamic as buddy cop partners, but also their love as best friends and romantic partners!! so it’s mostly rock songs with pop and indie in there. i tried to keep it as true to canon as possible based on zootopia 2, so not much storytelling on how they first met and their almost enemy beginnings. overall, it’s a happy, feel-good playlist, so no childhood trauma oversharing here either. xD

i sorted it by song flow/theme, so do listen in order and don’t shuffle! it’ll be continuously edited as usual (meaning songs may be added, deleted, or moved around)

currently my fav part of my jinmao megamix is the push n pull toxic freaky power dynamic switch shit that was going on at the end of LN5. i love the dark and problematic vibes of these songs, and it makes it even more special that these themes don't really come back later since jinmao's relationship changes (for the better!) after this.

i could do a whole explanation/analysis on why i chose all these songs in the whole playlist but there's 300+ songs in here... JKLFJKLSDJFK one day i'll get into it in a post.

the songs after this part aren't sorted very well yet, but everything before is HANDPICKED, HANDSORTED, HANDCRAFTED based on both story and listening flow LOLL i'm insane. and i always end up editing it too???
