BESTIES

the only trans woman I've seen so far who got banned for no reason was deejay but you don't see the child rape fetishists rally behind her. gee I wonder why they wouldn't support the black trans woman in her unjust deletion but support racist tankies instead? what a mystery
Stonefemmesiren and I also got deleted without warning or citation which meant we couldnât even follow tumblrâs appeals process since it requires a linked offending post or message which tumblr typically provides for you in their ban email.
We did not get our accounts re-established, unlike sisterfucker#45678 who gets her account deleted every few weeks before tumblr returns her entire blog to her.
Seems like tumblr isnât that offended by the pedophile liberationists, allowing them to return with their old blogs again and again, meanwhile random commie social workers and Black women get their accounts perma-banned without any reason and without the hope of appeal. Just kinda curious huh
Omg pjackk is gone again
God damnâŠ
i don't really think saying ppl are ableist about tenna is a stretch because he is simultaneously so heavily coded with bpd (or just mental illness in general if you want to be vaguer) and characterized as being shockingly patient and non-violent/non-confrontational given his circumstances (outside of when he's in the middle of a nervous breakdown so bad he's having active flashbacks during it), that the only real way he can be so consistently mischaracterized as a possessive yandere dom who hurts people with his size is if you either didn't play the game or have very strange misconceptions about what a character like him "Would" act like. which certainly warrants reflection methinks
Adding both Rowan and Keyâs tags to this actually because like. Yeah. Yeah exactly. And on the inverse of fanon ableism I can personally say that Tennas coding spoke very deeply to me while I was playing and with each replay and analysis spoke to me in a way that I hadnât seen before- where there were symptoms of BPD without the character being treated as irredeemable or a massive burden but someone who is scared for good reason and struggling. Like you can imagine that it feels like a personal punch to the face when you then turn around and see people making jokes about him suicide baiting people and straight up attacking them or using his size to intimidate them or yandere aus or just. A variety of content thats just a caricature.
And itâs fine if you realize you might have a bias you havenât assessed! Every single person has a bias, no matter what- and everyone is constantly learning and growing. Itâs good to learn and grow and change! There are people who might just not connect the idea of âoh hes showing these signs of mental illness associated with BPD such as massive abandonment issues and struggling to navigate relationships in his life as well as lashing out or black and white thinking or breaking down over things I feel arenât that big, therefore he must [insert stereotype here]â or even realize that thatâs the thought process in the back of their head. Thatâs why people talk about it, thats why people say âwow the yandere trope is really ableistâ or âitâs ableist to insist tenna beats peopleâ.
Sure. Yeah. A lot of the time, âplaying toysâ isnât that deep, honestly Iâm someone who thinks a lot of these types of things are stupid and blown out of proportion most the time- but politics exists in everything whether you like it or not. Thats why itâs good to learn when a way you might be going about something might be hurting someone else.
if i saw this image when i was nine i wouldve nearly cried and then saved the art to my desktop and drawed it over and over again for 2 weeks in colour pencils

NEW BULLSHIT JUST DROPPED!!!
i get that americans love their cultural imperialism, but it really does piss me off that june is âinternationalâ pride month just because something happened in the united states.
in aotearoa, june isnât our pride, itâs theirs. marsha p johnson and sylvia rivera are their historical figures, not ours. the phrase that âyou owe your rights to Black trans womenâ is true there, but here we owe our rights to (mostly) MÄori historical figures. i have the freedoms i do because of the legacy of an entirely different set of people operating in an entirely different context at entirely different times.
But because of american cultural imperialism, most queer people in Aotearoa donât even know our own queer history. Carmen Rupe, Ngahuia Te Awekotuku, the Dorian Society, Gillian Laundon, Georgina Beyer, and the Wolfenden Association are some of our queer history. We should know their names! we should know what they did for us! but because of the power of the american imperial machine, we donât.
our national pride month should be july, the month that the Homosexual Law Reform Act passed in 1986. our two largest cities hold their pride festivals in february and march, respectively. american queer history has very little (or nothing, depending on who you ask) to do with our queer history. anecdotally, from my own queries, queer youth in aotearoa know more about american queer history than our own.
anyway, happy pride, americans. iâm truly sorry that most of you donât see the negative impact your nationâs culture has on the rest of the world. and to the rest of the world reading this, try searching for your own country and cultureâs queer history, donât accept the american narratives as your own. we deserve our own histories divorced from the cultural hegemony of the USA.
