The thing about writing a ttrpg campaign where the overarching plot involves multiple factions fighting for the same thing is that not only do you not know which side the party is going to go with there is also a chance they're just gonna fight them all and who knows what the hell theyre gonna do from there. I do hope they occasionally make little truces or pit them against each other
