@ssilentangel
also you can't be goth/alternative and Christian at tb same time just saying, it's against the values of every counterculture, kinda poser behavior from you ngl
Goth and alternative subcultures have never required adherence to a particular religion or rejection of religion. Their history is much more about music, fashion, art, and identity than theology.
Goth is a music and art subculture, not a religion or belief system. There have always been Christian goths, atheist goths, pagan goths, Jewish goths, Muslim goths, and people of other faiths. My faith and my taste in music or fashion aren't mutually exclusive.
Many known goth musicians have been Christians or have incorporated Christian themes into their work. The subculture has always been pluralistic.
The earliest Christians were persecuted by the Roman Empire. Throughout history, Christians have often challenged prevailing social norms.
Being Christian doesn't mean you have to dress a certain way or listen to only one type of music.
Gothic styles were very popular back in 17-1800s by Catholics and Orthodox.
And there's nothing performative about it. I was alternative before I came to Christ. So your argument is wrong.
a date?
I'm too busy yearning for men who know nothing of my existence.
