Found something some people might be interested in: Hasbro's wholesale site BuyHasbro put out this year's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy, a document going over how discounted any retailers/advertisers can sell select products for throughout the year.
DJ Furby is one of the few items in that list:
DJ Furby currently appears to have an MSRP of $69.99, and according to this it isn't allowed to be sold at retail for any lower than $54.99 until next year. (It could potentially be extended when the 2026 policy gets sent out, but I highly doubt it) Also as expected, they set the starting date to June 1st, which lines up with the idea that it could be sold online much sooner than the July 15th release date other distributors listed for physical retail.
