Ok what the actual fuck is up with all of this annabeth hate all of a sudden? This girl has been through so much she’s been feeling unwanted since she was a child the two people she thought were supposed to be her family, her people, left her in the end and holy shit ok fine even if u don’t take all of that into account and want to bring up that fucking judo flip scene pls be so for real annabeth thought Percy was invulnerable ok and if ur calling her a bad girlfriend or an “emotionally repressed blonde” let me remind u of the shit Percy put her through before they started dating. It was supposed to be his last summer and he didn’t spend it with her can u imagine how she felt? She thought he was the one who was going to stay and he left again and again to go back to his normal world to his normal friend his normal life. the one time she finally got her own quest, bro got blown up disappeared for two weeks came back and said they needed to bring this new girl who he just met on the quest that she’ll be able to help them and when annabeth is sobbing about Luke he’s got no fucking sympathy for HER fuck Luke at that moment ok what about her he’s busy complimenting Rachel. Annabeth has always been there people keep hurting her repeatedly but she’s always there for them never has her faith in somebody she truly believed in wavered. It’s like yall don’t remember we’re reading the books from Percy’s pov and yea sure he thinks about a lot of this stuff and u think he’s really sensitive which he is but he’s rarely ever expressing these thoughts out loud. The pain this girl has gone through is so much. I love Percy and I love them together and I have my own opinions on their relationship but if you’re commenting on it, it’s not fair of u to just point out her flaws while keeping Percy on this pedestal. It’s not fair of u to be saying this shit about her when u never truly understood her.
