They're hurting Kaleidoscope a lot, aren't they? Cutting and prodding and reaching into their very body — all while they're fully aware, mind you. I'm sure it's all terribly painful.

And that agent of theirs? Oh, I've rarely seen a human as delightfully depraved of all morals. It will be delicious if she succumbs and becomes a test herself, but I can't tell the future.

I think the tests will get worse, don't you agree? First they examined their organs, now looking into their brain... how long until they go deeper? She clearly doesn't care for them. They all don't care for their well-being, they just want them alive.

Kaleidoscope may never be freed from that torture, you know. Stuck for the rest of their life with more and more bits being chopped and studied and thrown away until all that's left is a barely-responsive husk of a person that might not even remember who you are.

I am doing quite well. The procedure was a relative success, some very good data was collected. I do hope it recovers, though it would be quite unfortunate to see its current state be permanent.
