Hey y’all! I’m currently out for the summer and in the middle of job hunting. I have a job interview lined up, but I am critical levels of broke and even if I get the job idk when my first pay check will be.

So I’m going to be doing discounted full color commissions!!! They’ll last until I can get solid employment, or until the end of the summer if I have enough time.

I can only work in traditional right now because my computer is busted and can only run for 20 minutes without shutting itself off. My prices will be based off paper size.

You will get the finished piece shipped to you, and a high quality scan. If you don’t feel comfortable handing out your address to a stranger on the internet, then I’ll pick a smaller base size and you will only receive a scan.

Sizes are measured in inches. Paper may vary in whiteness and cut quality.

Examples:

If you just want grayscale, I’ll bump the price down by 5 dollars.

I’m open to drawing pretty much anything, but more complex things like mechs, furries, animals, and armor, will have an up-charge added to the base price.

The only thing I will NOT draw is loli/shota/underage, but I have a right to decline any request I don’t feel comfortable with.

I take Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp. Half the price of the commission will be paid upon the draft sketch being approved, and the second half will be paid before receiving the final png and shipped the physical piece. Due to the price of these commissions, details cannot be changed after the sketch is agreed upon.

Mmmm Law having postpartum depression after giving birth to Dante, and becoming incredibly emotionally unstable and volatile.

He starts scream sobbing trying to breastfeed for the first time, and has to be reminded by his midwife that under no circumstances, no matter how upset he is, should he shake the baby.

Still deeply angry at Doflamingo for missing the birth, and will hit and throw things at him.

Really, really struggling with the whole “the baby is outside of me now and is a complete stranger” aspect of postpartum. He has a lot of resentment and fear towards a baby that now relies on him as his primary caretaker.

I think Law having a hellish postpartum period is also a great opportunity for Doffy to sink his claws deeper into Law. When I first started this fic I thought about Doffy as a shitty partner and father, but it is so much more interesting to think of him being the opposite. Like Doflamingo caring about those close to him is a big aspect of his character, so even when Law is lashing out in very violent ways, Doflamingo doesn’t get angry and is even apologetic for how hard things are (and for prioritizing business over family.)

Doffy taking time off from his crime empire to help Law with the newborn. He is as attentive as a partner can get and Law is at such a low point that he leans into heavily. Doffy makes him feel so precious and taken care of because he gave him a son. Isn’t that so sick and twisted?

Words cannot express how much I love the idea of Doffy being a good father to his children, despite how much of a horrible person he is. They’re his flesh and blood, his heirs, so he’d never think to lay a hand on them. And because of how precious these kids are, Law gets even more exalted in Doffy’s mind as the mother to his sons and daughter.

I painted the cover of a new notebook I got for writing my DofLaw fanfic. It’s based off of vol. 73 :3

This was my first time painting with gouache and it was a real fun time. I have a few mistakes I want to go back and fix before I seal it and start writing in it, but I spent all night painting so I didn’t want to wait before posting.

I’m gonna go to bed now, but spring semester has ended and I should be making real progress on my DofLaw fics soon.

What's your opinion on mpreg no longer being considered taboo within fandom culture?

Like, I know someone who was drawing it during a time when that could have negatively affected their professional career (they work in animation) if they weren't able to be anonymous

I was too young to see just how taboo it was back in the 2000s-2010s. I guess I sorta saw it, but as I got into the NSFW art spaces when I turned 18 (like officially rather than be a rat that lurked when I was still a dweeb teen) the tides had already shifted pretty largely in favor of "shh just let people have fun"

Frankly, it's just so freeing. I know that I have some desires to someday work in a professional field of art and I'm kinda just letting my portfolio casually have one or two pieces with pregnancy in it (one of which is mpreg). Like being more open and positive to not just mpreg, but various freak fetish stuff, has opened a great deal of opportunities for so many people more than ever!

I guess from more of a perspective of how it is perceived more widely... let's be real, it's used as clickbait so often. How many goddamn webtoons am I going to have to trawl through and shell money out for just to see them put a twink in an oversized shirt with a faint hint of a bump and then timeskip to after the baby is born? BOO LAME 👎 👎 👎 FUCKING BIG L

Like I get it, they do the same shit when the role is a woman pregnant, so even then I go BOOO 🍅🍅🍅

Lol I also used to be critical of how even fanfic creators will handle it, but I give them credit as they're not beholden to anyone but themselves, so if they choose not to show it or go into gross detail, sure fine. I'm still disappointed when the 8k fic ends when the pregnancy test comes up positive, but that's My Bad for coming in here expecting my boy to be pushing out a whole litter when it was clear about 1/4th the way in this story was JUST about the sex.

And as I say all that, there's the depressing knowledge of fucking rich pigs in power who-while they're the most depraved out of us all-would like to claim moral high ground and strong arm companies and corporations running social media sites to shut down SWers and artists, writers, and other creatives for consenting fun or challenging topics.

These communities can be so open and accepting, and it can be so freeing to not feel like a freak weirdo for having interests in things strange and abstract or even abject. Besides the drama of usual Fandom discourses, they are a net positive. But having this tired old "think of the children" argument that never ACTUALLY thinks of the damn children is so fucking exhausting and demoralizing when it starts affecting us like with TOS changes and with legal threats to our safety.

In some light at the end of the tunnel, I don't see mpreg or other fetishes of the sort going away as a result entirely. We all will keep in touch and find ways to share and be involved. Even if it means going underground to do so ❤️
