Honestly I think that life is strange is so female focused that male characters like Warren end up underdeveloped (idk if I can complain about this because usually it’s the other way around so it is nice for female characters to be the focus for once)

But I agree with the post with the ideas that they could have had the homophobia Warren face actually mean something but instead it just reads as generic 2010s bullying. They also have him act super “manly” (ie. waiting to be “an alpha”) in attempt for the viewers to think “poor straight guy! People think he’s gay!”

Even if they decided to make Warren straight it could have been interesting commentary on how society doesn’t allow men to be viewed as emotional and how trying to fit into that expectation can lead to men turning to toxic ideologies. I feel as though that’s what the game was trying to do with Warren as players often describe him as an insecure teenaged boy. Except the game doesn’t dive deep enough into it for it to be meaningful commentary.

This dialogue sounds pretty bisexual to me, but it’s also nightmare Warren and I don’t really consider anything in the nightmare to be REAL.

Also I accept saying yes but also not taking this dialogue as real (aka my opinion.) I also take into consideration it would do so much for his character to be bi and add so much more meaning to the bullying he faces (aka the nickname gayram.)
