I’ve been trying to focus more and sketch less in meetings. The Neumann Smith one was three hours with NO BREAKS, so I’m glad I brought it then. Too bad they hid all the coffee and snacks behind the projection screen though.
I like my clampbot and fire-breathing dragon best.Â
We’re scrambling to get everything operational after our Alma migration. Some of us are dreaming of vacation. How far into the semester do we need to wait before things calm down? It’ll never be perfect, but we’ve worked hard all summer. Most of us deserve a rest or we’ll go cray-cray if we haven’t already.Â
More fun meetings. I am especially proud of the grey, reptilian, and hypno-toad. The shot glass with ice and an umbrella isn’t too bad either. I should avoid drawing pineapples though.

The first meeting was too short to finish the drawing. See, we’re getting closer to the present!
Note: We’ve stopped taping The Five and Tucker Carlson, so don’t expect too many more of these. Fortunately, our debates have become much calmer.
I thought I’d been posting pictures of my sketchbook, but I didn’t stick with it very long. I also might’ve posted them on Twitter during the halcyon days before my coworkers made me close my account. (Gotta love censorship in academia.)Â
Anyway, I’m trying to do at least five a week or as many as I can during meetings.
