You’re too good for this world, Stacey. Honestly. Kindness never got me anywhere, not when I displayed it sincerely. Yeah, I kind of am a big deal. I suppose. Well, I wouldn’t mind that, really. At least it’d be less boring around here.

I don’t think I’m t-… to be fair I am perfect for this world. There needs to be some kindness in a world full of… death and destruction. Besides, without me, who is to teach the children proper manners? Without that they may turn into mini Bilson’s, and while that would be absolutely adorable we don’t need any copies. Less boring? You have too much faith in me. I’ll try my best, though. I could probably visit every couple of days. Make you dinner? Is that against the rules since we aren’t… nevermind.

Yes, it is.  There isn’t a single person on the face of the planet, rather what is left of it, that is perfect. Deep down you’ve got a few flaws, but that is what makes you all the more loveable.

I think I don’t have the need to be an asshole with you, you don’t make me want to rip my hair off of my head like most people do.

So, you’re kind of a big deal now. That’s very exciting. I can imagine an office is cozier than guarding a fence. It takes some concentration. Enough to swing the ax at the right tree, but it’s mostly a routine, something that doesn’t take much thought and lets your mind go blank. You can feel the vibrations as metal hits wood and it fills your entire body. You don’t sound so sure of yourself. Why is that?

You sing alone, that sounds sad. I feel special though, being your only audience. Nothing in mind, whatever’s your favorite would be great.

If your mind is blank then you aren’t thinking about it? It’ll be your brain’s emotional break, yeah? Which I think is crucial, especially in times like this. It could be good to let your mind wander. Oh, well…um….because I’m not entirely. I can do more than people think I can, but I am still fairly weak…and clumsy. I’d probably miss the log and chop off my leg instead.

N-no. It isn’t really all that lonely…or sad. I had a partner who used to play guitar for me, but he di- Right…okay. One of my favorites? I can do that. Easy.
