Daily mantra 🕉️
Your kind words and healing wishes are better than any medicine ~ Speaking with kindness reflects Creators love and brings peace.
Can we quiet down enough so that we find ourselves in a place of recognition that our freedom is not independent of everybody else’s?
“Passion is the bridge that takes you from pain to change.”
— Frida Kahlo
“I want to inspire people. I want people to look at me and say “because of you I didn’t give up.”
— Unknown
There are several different categories of grounding techniques, and one of those is "Sound Grounding Ideas"
These can be helpful to distract yourself and focus on something.
Here's a written list of the examples in the graphic:
Listen to nature sounds on youtube
Put on some of your favourite music
Watch a favourite show (or alternatively, close your eyes and listen to the sounds of your show and try and visualize what's happening on the show.)
Listen to a podcast.
Listen to an audiobook or read a book aloud.
Call a friend
Listen to the sounds around you. What do you hear? The hum of a fridge? Birds outside? Cars driving by?
Listen to guided calming exercises.
looking for closure is basically making an excuse to hold on to that person. the disrespect is the closure. the closure you should seek is the one with yourself, and saying good bye to the version of you that allowed the disrespect to happen so that you do not put yourself in the same position again.
