Another finished casual commission for Dungeons and Dragons - a female vampire. Skin doesn't quite look vampire enough for me but at least it looks undead! :P

So there seems to be a rumour of a Codex Supplement: Harlequins...
We'll be keeping a close eye on this one!

Nice fan-made graphics depicting the Thousand Sons legion.
An interesting twist to an awesome board game of village building...

Over the past week, me (Josh) and Harriet (the moderators of SWG) have waited for this moment for a while.... Not only did our Warhammer 40k RPG Deathwatch: The Litany Discoveries properly get going but also the long awaited 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons campaign started, Tyranny of Dragons. More detailed reports will soon follow in 2 separate posts. With only 1 session in both games completed, there have already been some major twists, turns and just some insane dice rolling luck! For example: Deathwatch - despite running into no-man's land, deathwatch devastator Kenshen and Tech-marine Balmung created a buffer zone to save the lives of 509 PDF Imperial Guardsmen in the city of Lordsholm. Tyranny of Dragons - Tiefling Warlock Kairon 'Fateweaver' not only survived a blue dragon attack but, incredibly, managed to convince it that he is willing to join the 'Cult of the Dragon', in a bid to save the party..... It's working so far... ^Josh

The group will be meeting up this Sunday at the usual place, The Royal Exchange in Stone, Staffordshire. We will be taking a look at a new game, Eldritch Horror. Eldritch Horror is a cooperative adventure game in which one to eight players take the roles of globetrotting investigators working to gather clues, solve mysteries, battle terrifying monsters, and protect the world from otherworldly threats. Other games are welcome and we will soon play a rebooted golden oldie ..... Space Hulk!
Well, 2 games down, 1 to go for today. First was a very close fight against imperial Guard/Astra Militarum, with no held objectives but lost by 1 secondary objective. 2nd game was against 3 imperial knights allied with an Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum Deathstrike Missile launcher. Playing my first ever game against them, I now agree they aren't as hard to fight against, but still too much for normal 40k, especially when the Warlord Knight can 'outflank' as an ability. Josh
SWG is Expo bound!
The SWG founders (Harriet and myself, Josh) are going to be at the annual UK Games Expo in Birmingham in just 30minutes for non-stop gaming fun from warhammer 40,000 to Dungeons and Dragons.* Wonder what there is in store for us over the next 3 days... *Well, I will be, Harriet's volunteering so she's already on site! @StaffsWG
