jotaro canonically

has issues displaying his emotions and using his words: he's a very No Expression person and people think he's mean and cold because of it. he canonically is hard to talk to because of this. it's not cause he's trying to be aloof but because he just genuinely doesn't understand why people need him to behave certain ways to read him. he has a hard time maintaining eye contact, seen below with the fact his eyes are shadowed/drawn explicitly looking away

uses pressure to stim (clenches his jaws and fists a lot; constantly wears a heavy jacket and chain even when he grows up (pictures below); enjoys the pressure of hats on his head)

has special interests. the doctorate he received is notable here cause his stay in morioh was like, three months. he wrote an entire doctorate in three months. he was hyperfocused

becomes very upset when his routine is changed, such as when he's asked to go to morioh or when his mother doesn't kiss his cheek

is prone to meltdowns when he's overstimulated

He gets stressed out really easily but some things and not as stressed by some others and it doesn't quite follow what a neurotypical person might expect. for instance he's stressed out when his friend eats something in a weird way by he's not the same kind of stressed out when he's sussing out an enemy that for all he knows has already killed one of his friends (justice arc)

has echolalia (google yare yare compilation if you need proof i can't fit it all into one post)

has a hard time reading the emotions of others, such as when his daughter was upset cause he said the wrong thing despite trying to help
