Two years ago, my daughter hatched!
Raising her has been eye-opening, and its lead me to become the soft and gentle soul I am now. I have never loved anything quite like I loved her, and still love her. Even though she's growing up faster than I can keep up with sometimes.

In exchange, I’m allowed in his bar and get free drinks for me and whoever I decide to bring. The clientele is a bit more upscale, but they’re so intoxicated by overpriced champagne that they’ll hardly notice us.”

Stanford ordered them both two mimosas. “Parenthood is not easy. My Nikola is already talking and wouldn’t stop for the life of him.” He then explained. “I created Nikola in a lab.”
Flora laughed a little. “I’ve only ever been a parent to my cycloptopuses,” she said, “but I can imagine children are difficult. I really don’t relate well to them. Maybe it’s best that I don’t have any. Just the cycloptopuses.”
“Oh, those dimensional creatures can be domesticated?” He asked, curiously. “It’s a job, for lack of a better word, that I’m slowly learning on a day-to-day basis. I also have a polydactyl cat I’ve been caring for and an owl.”
Flora tilted her head. “You have a cat and and owl?” She looked interested. “Do you have pictures?”
“Of course.” Stanford takes out his brown leather wallet and pulls out a few pictures. One contained a picture of an aqua-green alien/human hybrid humanoid baby sucking on his own fist. The other contained a grey cat with extra toes. The final picture contained a barn owl.

“Okay, let’s go to the dimension that serves some good mimosas.” Ford suggested. He extended his arm and magically made a portal appear. He never explained to her that he was a lich, but he hardly weighed in the option of telling her vs. not telling her.
