Don't tell people your boundaries. Show them.

If you tell someone they can't talk to you a certain way or do certain things, those are not boundaries. Boundaries are things we show. If you tell someone "if you do that again I am not going to speak to you" and you stay and continue to speak to them, that's not a boundary. Just words. Words that they now know means absolutely nothing and they can take advantage of.

You show people how to treat you.

You reinforce your boundaries with your actions. Unless you show someone with your actions that what they are doing is not okay, and you do not continue to allow it, they will keep doing it.

Mars conjunct Descendant in synastry or composite would show similarly to conjunction to the Ascendant, there is a great sexual drive to the relationship. If it is not a sexual relationship then it will simply show a partnership or paring which stands strong together and has much energy. There can certainly be conflicts because Mars wants to be in control and dominate. This also depends on the signs involved. There will also be elements of getting stuff done and achieving things in the material world, due to the relationship. However if there are negative contacts to this paring then there will be a lot of arguing or butting heads. Mars again is the soldier and ruler of Aries. And what makes Mars conjunct Descendant interesting energy wise is it creates a lot of sexual attraction normally, if at tight orb, because that means ascendants opposite mars. The Ascendant does represent Mars because Mars is ruler of 1st house. So there will be great urge more then likely to be physically near each other. The descendant is also ruled by Venus since they represent the 7th house together. So it’s very similar in my opinion to a Mars conjunct Venus. This is especially true if Mars is the Man because Descendant is similar to Venus in many ways Since they rule same house.
