This one's for my great-grandmother, z"l. She was around ninety when she passed away, and the most incredible and supportive person. She would've hated Star Wars, she thought everything should have a happy ending.

This is Bail. He went to school with Padmé when she got her first degree in law, and then started working at the same firm she got an internship at when she went back to get another in marine biology. He has no patience for her mermaids, which is chiefly because he's already had their existence confirmed for him by the thing Obi-Wan did with his tongue this morning, but can't tell her that. He picks out his own ties, which are always pastel and floral pattern. Breha finds it endlessly amusing that people always assume his wife got them for him, or rather, really likes watching him correct them in between verbally tearing them to shreds.

And, because I felt like being extra cliché, and I'm proud about that, here's Marine Biologist!Padmé. She's very determined to prove the existence of mermaids to her colleagues, and broke her arm falling off a cliff two weeks ago. She's Jewish, and her family's from Morocco. The design on her left hand is a henna, from her sister's wedding the other day.

I was never going to resist drawing Arla for long, so meet Arla Fett. She's on her way back from a job, looking forward to seeing her baby brother when she gets back. Probably Jaster would scold her for going barefoot, but she likes the feel of duracrete beneath her feet.

Apparently I'm not done drawing Obi-Wan with long hair. I have no regrets.

This has been sitting on my desk for months now, and I'm finally accepting that it's juts never getting finished. So have a half finished drawing of Anakin with his children.

Because he made some really very dumb choices, but in his defense, he was left without supervision.
