Damn… 4 years since Jason left Take That.
I kind of get his decision. Like, 2 minutes reading stuff on the thatters fb group or in twitter and I’m like “thank god Jay never got any social media”. Fame can be shit, paps can be annoying, photoshoots can be boring af. I get it. It actually makes sense that he doesn’t want to be on the spotlight anymore. Even if I get it, I still miss him a lot. Unfortunately, you can´t share your thoughts about it on facebook or twitter without someone being like

*sigh* I do respect it. I don’t want him to come back if he doesn’t want to. I’m not tweeting to the boys “bring jay back” because I know it’s not up to them.
or the worst, the people who say

*sigh* why? why missing someone it’s disrespectful to the lads? I’m really really really greatful that they decided to keep making music.I loved them. But you can like TT3 and still miss Jay, it’s not a contradiction or something offensive. If your parent got divorced and you live with your mum and you can’t see your dad all the times you would want to because, I don´t know, he lives in other city now, missing your dad doesn’t mean ditching everything your mum does for you (?). I least in my case, I don’t want Jay and Rob back in TT because I think TT3 is shit (like some people think it’s the logic), I want them back because I miss them as a person.
I loved listening to Jay on interviews! -beside his soothing voice that could work as ASRM for me- I loved how he articulate his thoughts and after every word he said he was like “you know what I mean?” and moving his hand to explain better and aaaah I could listen to him for hours. That’s the part I miss the most. Yes, I would love to see him on a stage again. Yes, I would love to listening to him singing again, but I miss that part that you can’t get just seeing photos of him, or watching his performances. I miss that part of him that he decided when to shared and that showed us what makes him unique.
If I could met him in the streets I would be like “mate, you don’t have to come back to the band if you dont want to. or singing. or dancing. But could you please have like a blog where you share your thoughts? you could even make up a name, it doesn’t have to be your real name! or write a book with a pseudonym! just give us a secret hint to know that it’s you. You know, like that simpson episode where Bart discovered that a fat guy was Michael Jackson”.
I think that the reason why he was always my fave is because I feel a little identified with him. No, I’m not gorgeous as him. No, I’m suck at dancing (at least when I’m sober). No, I don’t have a healthy body (I eat junk food and don’t exercise). When you saw him, at first sight he looks so confident about himself. But if you look carefully, his body seems very tense and you can tell that he’s kind of nervous. Everytime I saw him like that I was like “bitch, me too”. Or everytime he doubted about his contribution to the band, even if I completely disagree with him, I was like “bitch, me too” because of all the times I’ve felt that way. Or those times when he was scared to do something but he pushed himself to do it anyway I was like “bitch, me too” for all the times I got up on a stage for singing, playing the drums or simply speaking to a big audience in class even if my hand were sweating. Or when he suddenly isolated himself and go away traveling for a bit by his own, honestly “bitch me too”. I relate. When things got too overwhelming for me I tend to do a trip to somewhere alone.
God, this turned out way longer than I expected to be lol. But tumblr is the only place where I can share this without someone else moaning because “itS dIsrEspECTfUl wITh TT3″
