Shockwave wanted to test fusing spark fragments from a gestalt into forming one whole spark, to be inserted into a ready made frame like cold construction. With some carefully timed manipulation he had even managed to coerce the less than willing Constructicons into participating.

It was an experiment the Constructicons were supposed to wash their servos of completely, after helping Shockwave get the newspark up to speed as a Decepticon. No different than any other newspark that had been constructed cold. They weren't supposed to get attached to it like it was a sparkling.

Unfortunately, Scavenger did not get that memo, or truthfully just elected to ignore it.

Do you have an updating schedule? Also for your fic are the structies portrayed more as a qpr or something romantic? (Or it could stay unlabled)

Hi! Thank you for your ask! I dont really have a specific schedule for updates, it just depends on how much time have to write and how long the chapters are. These first 5 have had to do a lot of heavy lifting in setting up the background of the story going forward, so they are really long. I'm hoping that once Aviator is born/Activated I can start making the chapters shorter and update on a more regular schedule.

As for your 2nd question, I'm afraid I am not sure qpr stands for in the context of transformers. As for the relationship with the Constructicons, they are kinda platonic husbands. Yeah its kinda hard to put a label on it.

We've seen Hook tend to Puller, Trench catching a ride on Scavenger's tail, Bonecrusher defending Jawbreaker, Longhaul patting Plow on the head and Prowl trying to wrangle all 5, but what do Whirlpool and Mixmaster do when they interact as parent and child? :)

Whirlpool loves to learn about space and the planets and whether or not they could use their outlier ability to stir a galaxy like the greatest and biggest bowl of soup! Silly sparkling dreams like that ^^ They're very smart! Mixmaster indulges their curious mind by teaching them whatever they want and Prowl makes sure they don't get up to anything too dangerous.

Oh! Lots of swearing in this one! Me and my friends were talking about which of the sparklings swore the other day. Plow does the most but causally and never when he's angry. Puller says frick. None of the Structies care if they swore. Prowl just asks they don't do it frequently or in polite company. Whirlpool is selectively mute but would drop their one and only f-bomb of the year specifically in polite company.
