My mourning is over. Byler is canon, period. In the finale, Mike and Will are still exchanging the same looks they did when they were a hair’s breadth away from making it official. Mike cries in the end because he hasn't found the courage to confess to Will yet, but he’s going to do it when he visits him in New York for Christmas.

That’s why, with this new image profile, I want to tell the world that the Duffers didn't win with their pathetic, bland writing. In fact, they wrote such a non-ending that they made Byler canon without even meaning to! Losers!
