Reading the Padmé trilogy!!
The first two books are impeccable: her political journey, her transition from queen to senator, and how, even at such a young age, she knew how to masterfully balance her personal life and politics. But now tell me: why, in the third book, did the author, who explored her politics so deeply, simply hide the character’s ending????
Why not mention that Padmé died because of her fascist husband? It almost feels disrespectful to the character.
Padmé died the minute the galaxy’s democracy ended at the hands of the person she loved most
