don’t let anyone convince you Eva Stratt didn’t care. she held parties for them. bought them hats. when ryland’s sad sack self left the party and was in the back of the party alone, she literally came back into the ship and she sang for him??? even though she was embarrassed??

when ryland called her mysterious she repudiated that so quickly. and said it wasn’t hard to ask people to die for the mission. so that he or anyone else would’ve have the same burden that she holds.
