I know everyone and their mother has a reverse Bloodymary AU but I really love the idea of pilot Simon being the sole survivor and him feeling fucking useless because he doesn’t know science or engineering! Then he meets Rocky (because in my reverse AU, Grace is having to deal with Ellie and Simon having to deal with Rocky lmao) who’s an engineer and he’s like “thank fuck for that! But we’re still screwed as we have no scientists to do all these experiments or research that we can send back to Earth and for you to bring to Erid.”

Cue them meeting and saving Grace (ha) and once Grace has recovered mostly, he finds the lab and it’s like that scene from beauty and the beast where he shows her the library. While Grace and Rocky are on their way to Erid, Asgard's energy source is being eaten away by astrophage. The Hail Mary had some Taumoeba to spare and gave a hefty amount to the Asgardians saving Asgard in like, 10 minutes.

Thor much to his disappointmen, wasn't able to see the faces of his saviors but greatful nonethless. Then when he got and settled in Earth he found out that they too had a problem with their energy source being eaten away by micro aliens and then managed to connect the strings.

His name is Grace 2.) The ship they're on is called the Hail Mary 3.) Grace has wings and magic (and a secret 4th thing Grace would keep to himself is how he got his wings. a Dr. Stone x PHM crossover would be bad as hell but then that would mean fucking up the timeline a little bit cause I reallyyyyy want Grace and Xeno to be acquainted with one another (and Grace being Senku's mentor in molecular biology)

The AU could either be a No Petrification AU but then there would be no Ishigami Village and Treasure island unless I magic them into existance. Delaying or starting canon early also wouldn't make sense. Dr. Stone canon starts in 2019, PHM canon starts somewhere in the 2020s, the years where humanity should already be petrified. If we were to DELAY Dr. Stone canon, Sol would still freeze over because 1.) everyone has been turned stone, 2.) the NASA astronauts can't do shit about it cuz the Hail Mary is still making her way to Tau Ceti

Best possible solution? Dimensional Travel.

The Eridians were making a new and imrpoved Hail Mary ship, their original plan was to make her be able to travel 3-digit lightyears in a span of only an hour or two instead of years. They end up accidentally inventing a dimension-travel ship instead💀
