One of my absolute favorite things about Rise is what unapologetically cringe loser fanboys the bros are. There is one braincell among them and itās tossed around like a game of dodgeball because no one wants to be the one to have it. Theyāve got broken moral compasses that only occasionally point in the right direction. Their luck is a roulette wheel of amazing and godawful. They all think theyāre cooler than they are while simultaneously undervaluing parts of themselves that deserve recognition. I love them so much.
Aziraphale expressions that I find very funny

little run cycle i drew for the funsies!!
Best trick I ever picked up. Seriously.
I have also learned this is great for [PICK A COOL NAME FOR A SHIP] and [LOOK UP THE FACTS ABOUT OXYGEN LEVELS] and [WHATāS THE WORD] and [DOUBLECHECK CHARACTERāS EYE COLOR] and ALL KINDS OF THINGS.
Anything that isnāt critical in the moment, and could be filled in later while Iām currently trying to burn through writing pages that will be lost if I donāt get them out right now? Brackets.
This is seriously the best advice, and it really helps put it into perspective that the first draft is just that- a draft. Thereās no reason to agonize over a particularly tricky bit of writing when you could just leave it in brackets and skip to the good parts, the parts youāve visualized. I also use brackets for [fact-check this], [use a stronger verb], [is this in character?] and other notes as I write, just so I donāt forget what I want to work on when I go back and edit.Ā
Note the good sense of [brackets] not (parentheses).
Parentheses AKA round brackets can appear in fiction, usually as an afterthought in a character's thoughts or narration (as I saw them used just recently), but square brackets hardly ever do.
SOMEONE HAS BEATEN MINECRAFT IN UNDER A MINUTE
I REPEAT. SOMEONE HAS BEATEN MINECRAFT IN UNDER A MINUTE
this is actually set seed glitchless, youāre thinking of random seed glitchless (which the wr for is actually 7 min 45 sec)! this basically means that they know everything about the seed going in and are picking the most perfect seed. (the previous set seed record was 1 min 47 sec)
also this record uses a really cool strat where it uses the dragons velocity against itself and if you line things up perfectly youāre able to kill the dragon with a single shot of an arrow!
here is the video!
if you've ever been launched into the void off the top of a pillar by the ender dragon before, you know that the dragon tends to fling things around like crazy. this is because it's center hitbox wants to push objects away really fast, proportional to how close it is to the center.
if you fire an arrow at the exact perfect spot (I'm talking insanely perfect - pixel and frame dependent, as well as needing the correct rng for the dragon's flight path) then you can exploit this to have the arrow be launched at incredible speeds directly into the dragon's hurtbox.
arrows in minecraft calculate their damage based on velocity. that's why barely charging a bow does very weak damage, while fully charging a bow does much more. however, there isn't a cap on this damage. you can theoretically one shot anything in the game no matter how strong, as long as you can get the arrow to travel fast enough. and that's exactly what happens here.
the final minute barrier being broken for ssg just shows how much dedication and commitment and knowledge and willpower the entire minecraft speedrunning community has.
Hotel Transylvania
im sorry the what
this one
the current meme is based on the following which is based on that one
which i assume is from tumblr based on how one of the panels is lifted from that "its ok i am a lesbo" picture
So the timeline is
- I am lesbo
- I'm stuff
- i am lesbo x I'm stuff fusion
- transfem Jonathan and transmasc mavis
as far as anyone can tell this is the original āI am a lesboā image, for the record
I'm sobbing oh my god

This is like an archeological dig site but the philosophers are still alive and talking
Still thinking about brand new mutated Dad Splinter figuring out the dynamics between his children. It wasn't until I was lining some of this that I realized the unintentional angst in this cute comic, because Splinter seeing how distraught Leo and Donnie are at being separated would hit a little too close to home for him.
a person online: i hate it when adults act like childish little freaks in public, smh. youāre an adult, you should be able to order your own food without help. get over yourself. also, why are some people, like, waaaaaaay too into the stuff that they like? omg, and the people who CLEARLY canāt even have one (1) normal conversation without acting Weird??? itās embarrassing, u guys are embarrassing, get help
the same person five seconds later: we gotta remember to love and support the autistic community u guys <3
you know, in hindsight this reminds me of something
when iām at work, people get mad at me for not hearing them the first few times. like, openly agitated. theyāll assume that iām stupid, or rude, or careless. sometimes they will indirectly chastise me for ānot paying attention.ā at which point i say āiām sorry, iām hard of hearing. you were on my right side and iām severely deaf in that ear,ā and they go āoh my god iām so sorry i didnāt know.ā
yeah. you didnāt, did you? the only available information you had about me was⦠that i didnāt hear you say something. the thing you hated enough to comment on was that i couldnāt hear you. you donāt get to backpedal once you find out that i have canāt-hear-well disease. i shouldnāt need to present a diagnosis to expect decency from you
if you attach negative characteristics to ādidnāt hear what you said,ā that will affect how you treat d/Deaf and hard of hearing people. if you attach negative characteristics like āweird and childishā to utterly harmless and well established autistic traits like ādoesnāt make eye contact,ā that will affect how you treat autistic people. itās not rocket science
you ever read a fanfic and just sit back and thinkā¦someone wrote something THIS good⦠and then justā¦.published it on the internetā¦.for freeā¦..
I love you, fanfic authors
