Every Photo From NASA’s Apollo Missions Are Now on Flickr

The Project Apollo Archive uploaded more than 8,400 high-resolution images the astronauts took during NASA’s Apollo Missions of the 1960s and 70s. The collection includes every photo shot with the Hasselblad cameras on the lunar surface, from Earth and lunar orbit, as well as during the journey between the two. All the photos are unprocessed versions of the original scans.

“sunday morning jogs? that sounds like my sort of sunday morning.” cruz admitted with a small smile. the man was interesting for sure. there was a sort of naivety to him that she hadn’t seen in anyone else her age for quite awhile. “i probably could. are you looking for a trainer? i’m always taking on new clients and you seem like you could keep up with some of my more complex and challenging routines.” cruz noted, inspecting his form. at his next statement, the girl started laughing. “i like you. thank you. i’m sure my abuela will appreciate that.” 

       A LAUGH, SELF DEPRECATING AND SHEEPISH      he spent quite a bit of his time not at work ‘training’ he’d done his research, knew what sort of toll zero g could have on your body and he wasn’t about to be outdone by something as simple as that. “sunday morning jog, a work out and some yoga, i spend too much time on my feet for my back not to hurt so ---- “ he cut off with a shrug, “ i would love a trainer, not that i could afford to pay you, unless you accept gratitude and the occasional funny story ?” it’s faux hopeful and genuinely teasing, even as he said, mock serious, “or me teaching your abuela the joys of the twenty first century.”

    when the male had returned the apologies, lady offered a sweet smile before nodding firmly, accepting them although there’d been no need. it was hard to believe that the absence of a certain dvd could set him off in such a way. but with further thought, lady felt as though she would act similarly if one of her vinyl records were taken or it wasn’t in stock at the vintage shop. though this had been about telenovelas, which she’d never given a chance at seeing. although she might consider. ❝ well, since I can’t seem to find the movie I want anywhere, would you have any novela recommendations for a first timer, by any chance?? ❞

           “ WELL.....”        he pauses a moment in thought, titles and genres racing through his head, he didn’t just watch spanish telenovelas but, well, he certainly had seen enough of them to be able to pick out a few favorites. “ la mentira is fantastic, i mean it, i’m a total die-hard fan, even if you don’t speak spanish it’s a gift. honestly though, it might take over your life the way it did mine, i got so absorbed in it i started making puns in spanish.”

“Look, Buzz! Can i call you Buzz? I’m gonna call you Buzz,” he rambled on. “I think our group of friends make a solid foundation for bee keeping, don’t you agree? We could name it something like ‘Buzz-ing Honey Enterprise!” Andy smiled at the guy, tilting his head to the side, laughing. “What dvd, Buzz? I don’t know anything about a dvd! But a pizza does sound great.”

        A HELPLESS LAUGH      he was used to andy’s antics by now but he never failed to cheer buzz up, no matter how his day had gone, and the momentarily crushing loss of the next season had been quite the turn. “andy ! c’mon, don’t do this to me, what would woody say ? he’d say you’re being a bully and you know how he feels about bullies !” he sighed, false defeat in his tone, “yeah okay, pizza, c’mon you brat.”

I’VE MADE SO MANY MISTAKES !       okay so i really wanted to respond to starters because i love new starters but uh. i have literally………20 ? threads give or take on buzz alone and i can’t live like this so i may be dropping most of his initial starter threads. however ! if you want a private thread just IM me ! oh and uh. i’ve been in this rp a week and a half and THIS IS MY 100TH POST WOW I HAVE TOO MANY THREADS.

Keeping the DVD in question hidden behind her back, Rita shrugged. “I guess someone just got to the movie before we got her. Best find something else to watch then.” Carefully stepping around him, Rita made her way to a few other aisles in search of some more movies to add to her collection. 

           HE TRAILED AFTER THEM      oh no, she wasn’t getting away that easy. rita ? not giving him more shit about this ? sounded like hell had frozen over, and believe it or not he was observant when he wanted to be. “oh no you don’t ! rita i swear if you have my dvd ! i need to get my fix okay, that last season finale really fucked me up.”

“yeah, i was just here for some type of rom com to get…you know, for a friend.” he figured that buzz wouldn’t believe him, but it was basically true. he was looking for a movie to watch with raps, and he figured this would be the genre to go with. “maybe start something new? 

      HE ROLLED HIS EYES      a little disappointed, rom coms were for anybody and everybody, still he scrunched his nose and teased him. “sounds fake but okay. i could start something new but then i’d just drop it as soon as i get the new season in. i think it’s back to cartoons and discovery channel documentaries.”

“I guess so. I just feel like I can’t get the full experience, you know? My focus is just everywhere! And you have to admit… sometimes the acting isn’t that good,” she pointed out, nose scrunched up. “It comes with the territory, I’ve been playing it forever, which makes it fun to watch,” she shrugged. “Curling? Out of everything there is you choose that!? Gross.” 

        AN INDIGNANT GASP    scandalized, truly, no other words for it, “what ? the acting is beautiful and perfect just the way it is, truly. a gift !” he shook his head, “that makes sense, i watch a lot of TED talks but i mean, don’t hate on curling, it’s high speed ice sweeping with high stakes ! and it’s basically winter shuffleboard.”

dodger was a bit surprised when the other fellow pepped up at the mention of criminal minds. he couldn’t help the light smile that tugged at his lips. the guy seemed passionate, that’s for sure. a laugh slipped past dodger’s lips at the comment about the gym and cake pictures. “yeah no, i totally get that — you tune into tv to escape reality and be entertained. not be inconveniently sad. i stay away from stuff like that. action and mystery really catch my attention.” he shook his head at the apology. “hey, no worries - no one was hurt so i call it a win.” a pause. “any way you can order it? sometimes you can get free shipping on stuff like that if they ship it to the store.”

        A NOD OF AGREEMENT     buzz was generally a pretty agreeing guy, of course, there were plenty of buttons to push if you knew they existed. “yeah, i don’t really feel like being weighed down with all of that as entertainment you know ?” he shrugged, though his small smile didn’t so much as waver. “i like action and mystery, they’re not my favorites but c’mon, who doesn’t want a bit of action packed gore fest every once in awhile. i can probably order it, but that means waiting. which, means i’m back to discovery channel documentaries for a few days.”
