Hi Tumblr! I’m trying to track down a Wattpad story I read sometime between 2021–2024. The title was definitely Slacker, but it might have since been renamed or deleted.

What I remember:

MC named Max, who is color-blind and has some learning difficulties.

He has a football player brother, and both were orphaned / in foster care.

The love interest was a top student.

Memorable scene: Max is coloring a cat while watching his brother’s football practice, and he colors the cat violet.

Later, Max ends up getting a kitten.

Does anyone remember this story, or know the author/if it’s been retitled? Any leads would be amazing 💜
