Rambling below

Personal thoughts. I think Hector pushed out the possibility that Capochin might be in love with him a long while ago 'cuz of that extreme imposter syndrome, so like, as he got worse he became more and more numb to the feelings of others as his isolation and anxiety got to him more and more. 😮‍💨 But the worst part is, HE, HIMSELF is running from his own feelings. Sweet on him...but afraid to be vulnerable...

Fearing attachment, because of Capochin's mortality. Fearing attachment, due to his mindset, how lonely his world has been before he met Capochin all that time ago. Afraid of mattering that much to someone. He's so emotional that it comes off the wrong way. To people he really likes!

Experiencing short term memory loss, as years pass like MONTHS to Inspekta...

So fickle. But already so attached...

AUGH.

I....AM NOT NORMAL ABOUT THEM......i never will be....their relationship comforts me in a way not many would understand....

I'm thinking like. By the time Patty gets recruited, Hector's just so EMPTY inside. His youngest recruit has a smile that reminds him of his own mortal smile. He connects with others in this fixed mindset that everyone's like him, that everyone wants to get everything in life done in a short amount of time...

Hyper aware of the mortality of his friends, all he has kinship with. How quickly 20, even 30 years passed. Like it was nothing. In his span of time, he's seeing his fans and friends aging rapidly...

And it truly starts killing him inside. Why is he doing this? What's the point of all of this? Do I have any effect on this world at all without my helpers? My employees?

Will I ever have a friendship that lasts? What's the point of something that can fade so easily with time?
