nico & jason playing fnaf headcanons
nico takes a DEEP breath and maybe runs a hand down his face. his heart is racing, but he stays mostly calm. on rough nights he mouths off at the animatronics, but that's mostly it. might laugh from time to time if he gets really surprised
nico also laughs at jason's reactions
jason has enough emotions for the both of them. if its something he was expecting, he's just annoyed that he got got, but if it caught him off guard he flips out. he's out of his chair pacing, or he punches the monitor, or screams insanely loud, or a combination of those.
jason also may or may not cause power outages when he gets really scared. nico learns to turn the lights in his cabin off before they play, which makes jason MORE scared but at least the lights aren't going nuts
nico has encyclopedic knowledge of fnaf lore, which is impressive because theres basically nothing concrete about that franchise
jason tries so hard to pay attention to the cutscenes and listens to everything phone guy has to say; he gets frustrated if people are talking over the information. he makes guesses, and gets surprisingly close to the 'actual' lore. this boy's used to trying to figure out whatever the gods have going on, so complex & kinda nonsensical things are familiar to him.
nico likes to try to throw jason off by saying things like "oh really?" in a deadpan voice when he gets close to figuring things out. or he tells him the lore in the middle of the most intense shit and it makes jason crash out a little
nico loves fnaf 4, he says "me" every time theres a crying child cutscene. jason gets more worried each time. (except for the bite, then he points at the crying child and says "you" to jason)
jason's favorite is pizza simulator. he likes building the restaurant and playing the minigames. he tries to reject all the scrap animatronics but nico makes him take some
nico puts jason on ultimate custom night everythings-going-to-kill-you mode and jason never forgives him for it. UCN is his least favorite game after that on principle
nico's focused, and he's quiet. he's just sitting there quietly, doing everything as orderly as possible. he's been playing since before he got to camp (probably started at westover, but it'd be kinda funny if he played fnaf in the lotus casino I just gotta say). when he gets especially frustrated, he talks a bit, usually just insulting the animatronics. he takes over for jason when he gets too scrambled to play.
jason starts calm and quiet, but he gets loud fast. he always cuts off his yelling, but he's NOT collected. his eyes start twitching sometimes. he moves quicker than nico. he apologizes to the animatronics sometimes when he gets surprised
at some point jason sees purple guy, and tells nico that they look alike. then purple guy kills one of the kids and jason's like... oh ...
